What are fibreglass roofing shingles?
Fibreglass shingles are a significant step up from traditional mineral felt. Built around a reinforced glass fibre mat core, they are stronger, more flexible, and far more resistant to cracking and weathering over time. The bitumen surface is finished with mineral granules that shed rainwater efficiently, reflect UV rays, and help prevent moss and algae build-up.

Fixing method
These shingles can be fixed using a hot blow torch or cold bitumen mastic adhesive, secured with galvanised ELH clout nails. For best results, apply to a clean, sound decking board (minimum 18mm OSB or plywood recommended). Always work from the eaves upward, overlapping each course as directed.
Coverage guide
