What are fibreglass roofing shingles?
Unlike traditional mineral felt, fibreglass shingles are built around a reinforced glass fibre mat core, which gives them their strength, flexibility, and resistance to cracking. The surface is finished with mineral granules that shed rainwater, reflect UV rays, and help resist moss and algae build-up over time. The result is a durable, decorative roof covering that performs as well as it looks.

Fixing method
These shingles can be fixed using a hot blow torch or cold bitumen mastic adhesive, secured with galvanised ELH clout nails. For best results, apply to a clean, sound decking board (minimum 18mm OSB or plywood recommended). Always work from the eaves upward, overlapping each course as directed.
Coverage guide
