Unilin Xtratherm PIR insulation board
Unilin Xtratherm PIR insulation is a high-performance foil-faced PIR insulation board designed for use in walls, floors, and roofs. Offering excellent thermal efficiency with a slim profile, it is ideal for projects where space, performance, and ease of installation matter.
Manufactured with a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) core, Xtratherm PIR provides a certified thermal conductivity as low as 0.022 W/mK, helping to reduce heat loss and improve overall energy efficiency. This makes it a practical choice for extensions, garden rooms, refurbishment work, and new builds where strong insulation performance is required.
The boards are faced on both sides with low-emissivity foil to enhance thermal resistance when installed as part of a correctly specified system. Lightweight and easy to handle, they can be cut cleanly on site, allowing for quick, straightforward installation and consistent long-term performance.
Unilin Xtratherm PIR insulation boards are available in 40mm, 70mm, 90mm, 100mm, and 150mm thicknesses, providing flexibility to meet different insulation requirements across domestic and commercial applications.
