Our Octopost 100mm (4″) creosoted pointed timber posts are a reliable choice for agricultural, stock and rural fencing.
Manufactured from slow-grown redwood sourced from northern Sweden, the dense grain structure provides strength and stability. Each post is kiln dried before treatment to maximise absorption of high-pressure creosote, helping protect against decay and extending service life in ground contact.
The machined octagonal profile creates flat faces for easier fixing of wire and fencing components. Because every post is produced to the same profile, installation is quicker and the finished fence line remains uniform and consistent.
Backed by a 25-year manufacturer guarantee, these posts have an expected service life of 30–40 years when correctly installed.
