Octopost Creosoted Timber – Fencing for livestock, equestrian, forestry, industrial, solar, deer, poultry, Otter and much more.

- - Redwood timber grown in Sweden in or near the Arctic circle which gives added strength due to its very slow rate of growth.
  - Posts are machined into an octagonal profile providing a flat surface for fixing.
  - Kiln dried for maximum absorption of high pressure creosote treatment.
  - OCTOPOST offer a 25 year guarantee but have a life expectancy of 30-40 years.
  - Each post is identical making erecting quicker and giving a consistency which is pleasing to the eye.
  - Large range available from 1.5m to 5m in length

Following the storm of Friday of last week(17/2/23), our garden fence blew down, we contacted Dickson's, and despite a power cut that meant all their systems were down, they took the order, delivered it 1st thing the next day, and were happy to wait for me to pay them when the power to their premises had been restored.Excellent customer service so I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It's not often that companies go above and beyond to help customers and give them truly personal service, so Ben and the team deserve recognition for this. In such a busy time they were able to supply me with everything that I needed for a big landscaping project and despite being extremely busy they were able to get me my materials ahead of schedule and at a great price. The boss, Peter I think his name is, is the RUDEST person I've ever met. He has no customer service skills, f's and blinds at you and just makes the whole experience terrible. I've spent £thousands over a number of years there yet on the last couple of occasions I've been subjected to anger, rudeness and the worst service. The staff are great, Peter is not. I will not be going back. Oh if you are unfortunate enough to frequent PM Dickson, don't ask Peter to cut anything for you, unless you want to be "charged for his time" or you're happy with odd lengths and shoddy cutting!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Just had our new garden building installed by the team at P.M.Dickson timber. I couldn't recommend them enough, we had an awkward space and made our shed to suit us. They are a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and found them very helpful and by far better quality than other local shed suppliers.I will now use Dickson's for the rest of my garden makeover and new fencing this summer.

What a great local company to deal with.Just taken delivery of a large order of Concrete fence posts, gravel boards and feathered edge fence panels. This company beat several other local companies on price, service and delivery time.Ben was realy helpfull on what quantities we needed so we didn't over order and also reccomended contractors who are coming to erect the fence to which i will add another review on their workmanship very soon. I was surprised to read Tracy Howard's review because I have dealt with Peter Dickson and his son Ben on and off for over 5 years and always found them reliable and professional in their business dealings. Peter is certainly 'direct' but I would never describe him as rude or obnoxious. I'm just in the process of ordering some fencing and a small cabin and they have been more than helpful.

Placed our first order for approx £700 with no problems, fast delivery etc. When we later phoned to place an order for a few extra bits he was extremely rude saying that he had already delivered to us twice before (which we had paid delivery costs for) and implied that he really didn't want to be bothered with smaller orders. Think he is missing the point that businesses thrive on repeat customers and recommendations and that no matter how busy you are, there really is no excuse for being rude and obnoxious! Needless to say order was cancelled and placed with Knox Sawmills.
