Octopost Creosoted Pointed Timber Posts – 140mm (5.5″)
Our Octopost 140mm (5.5″) creosoted pointed timber posts are a strong, long-life solution for agricultural, equestrian and rural fencing.
Manufactured from slow-grown redwood sourced from northern Sweden, the tight grain structure provides excellent strength and durability. Each post is kiln dried prior to treatment to maximise absorption of high-pressure creosote, helping protect against decay in ground contact.
The machined octagonal profile creates flat faces for easier fixing of wire, rails and fencing components. Because every post is produced to the same profile, installation is quicker and the finished fence line remains consistent and uniform.
These posts are backed by a 25-year manufacturer guarantee and have an expected service life of 30–40 years when correctly installed.
