Our Octopost 80mm (3″) creosoted pointed timber posts are a durable option for lighter agricultural and rural fencing applications.
Manufactured from slow-grown redwood sourced from northern Sweden, the tight grain structure provides strength and stability. Each post is kiln dried before treatment to maximise absorption of high-pressure creosote, helping extend service life in ground contact.
The machined octagonal profile creates flat faces for easier fixing of wire and fencing components. Consistent sizing across every post makes installation quicker and ensures a uniform appearance along the fence line.
Backed by a 25-year manufacturer guarantee, these posts have an expected service life of 30–40 years when correctly installed.
