Fencing for horses fits broadly into one of the following four categories: Timber post and rail is the traditional paddock fence, but needs regular maintenance as it is susceptible to cribbing by horses. Electric fencing is a good temporary solution but, again, regular maintenance is required. Polymer rail systems, such as the Centaur HTP® horse fence, provide a traditional look with the benefit of low maintenance, but are not suitable to use where there are other animals grazing. Tornado Wire’s Torus horse fencing is manufactured from high tensile steel wire; the specifications available can cater for horses of all sizes. Tornado Torus horse fence provides a range of permanent low maintenance solutions for containing your horse and any other animals that may also share their pasture. We recommend a double fence in situations where horses are present on both sides.
