Description
Western Red Cedar PTGV Cladding – 144mm x 18mm (137mm Coverage)
Western Red Cedar tongue and groove cladding is a premium option for external timber cladding, commonly used on garden rooms, extensions and feature walls. It is chosen for its natural durability, stability and distinctive appearance.
Western Red Cedar contains natural oils that make it resistant to decay and fungal attack, allowing it to perform well outdoors without pressure treatment. Its stability also helps reduce movement once installed, making it a dependable choice for long-term projects.
Each board is planed to a smooth finish and machined with a tongue and groove V-joint profile. This ensures a neat fit between boards and a consistent, high-quality appearance. The 137mm effective coverage provides clean lines and a contemporary finish.
Cedar is well known for its varied natural tones, from pale honey through to deeper reddish browns. If left untreated, it will gradually weather to a silver-grey colour. Alternatively, oils and stains can be applied to retain or enhance its original colour.
Lightweight and easy to machine on site, these boards can be installed using standard tools and are suitable for both horizontal and vertical cladding designs.
